Isabella and Sophia

Isabella and Sophia are the beautiful daughters of an old friend of mine from high school. Once again I have Facebook to thank for making that reunion happen! She booked this session with me for her girls and I am SO glad she did! What gorgeous little girls!!! I was so glad to meet Stacey's family and catch up on old times! So many wonderful things have happened for both of us since high school at Hooper Academy! lol Stacey, thank you for allowing me to capture these precious images of your little girls!

Alexis and Liberty 6 months

If you are a follwer of my work, you may remember my newborn images of these beautiful twin girls. You may also recall the "back story" but for those of you who are new followers, I'll fill you in. lol A few months after my twin girls were born (they are now 18 months), my husband and I were sitting in O'Charley's with our son, Cameron, who at the time was almost 6 yrs old. A couple approached us with a little boy and explained that they were pregnant and expecting twin girls and were sitting at a nearby table marveling at how similar our family dynamic was to theirs. Their little boy, Hoyt, was just slightly younger than our son.
It was through this chance meeting that the mom, Wendy, and I became good friends. She contacted me about pictures shortly after that encounter and I have had the honor of doing maternity, newborn, and now 6 month pictures of her twin girls. You can view her previous sessions in earlier blog posts. I am so grateful for the divine connections orchestrated by God! So many friendships have been birthed through my love of photography! A special thank you to Wendy for choosing ME as the lucky one to photograph her gorgeous family!

Adam and Katie

Adam is the son of a good friend and fellow photographer from my church named Sherry Corley. They are a truly amazing couple (not to mention absolutely gorgeous together!!!!) and I feel priviledged to be capturing their wedding in May. They had loads of fun during their engagement session and some of the images were so timeless even I have a hard time believing they were just taken a few weeks ago! Stay tuned for wedding images in May! Thanks so much to Sherry for all of her help during this session and for choosing me to capture this special time in their lives! I am truly honored.

Baby Dawson

I've had the pleasure of getting to know David and Emily through pictures! I shot their wedding this past summer, their maternity session a few months ago, and now I have had the true priviledge of capturing Dawson within his first week of life. What a special honor!!! He was sooooo adorable during our session and we got some amazing shots! Thank you David and Emily for being such wonderful clients as well as friends. Dawson is amazing and I pray that God will continue blessing your beautiful little family!

Winter 2010

These are just some images I captured during our "Alabama style blizzard" recently. They were taken in Prattville and Pine Level close to where we live. My husband was incredibly tolerant of my desire to go out and photograph the snowy scenery...I half expected him to get irritated but NO! It was as if he understood that photography has become second nature to me and that it would come close to causing a physical pain in my chest if I wasn't able to capture images of an event as rare as this! lol So a special thank you to my wonderful husband who watched the kiddos while I drove around in the snow like a crazy person!

Rutland Twins

Meet Daniel and Dalton! I went to school with their mom, Reagan, and was SO excited when she contacted me about doing their one year session! The lollipops are a family tradition and I thought it was an adorable idea! They were so fun to be around and I truly hope to have another opportunity to work with them again soon!

Blake, Rachel, and THE RING!

Right before Christmas, I had a "pre-proposal" session with Blake and Rachel that was meant to showcase their growing love for each other. Without Rachel's knowledge, Blake had arranged to propose to her on Christmas morning in her parents home in Katy, TX. Once the engagement was made official and Blake had placed the exquisite ring on Rachel's finger, we scheduled another shoot to showcase it's beauty (which of course, pales in comparison to the woman wearing it!) We had SO much fun, as always, during this session and I truly feel as though these two are meant for each other. I am so honored that they have chosen to have me photograph their wedding in her home town this November. Stay tuned for images from her upcoming Bridal Session this summer! She is going to be a simply gorgeous bride!!!

Baby Hannah Rhyan

This family has stolen my heart! They are so lovely and an absolute JOY to work with. They heard about me through their neighbor who is friends with Lynn, Baby Tripp's mom. Like most of my new clients, they were referred through word of mouth. They actually live in my neighborhood just around the corner from us which made the session very convenient for them. Baby Hannah was around 3 weeks old at the time of our session and was a perfect angel considering all I put her through! As you can see in one of the above images, she got her revenge! She began tinkling through her mom, Jaimi's hand as I was shooting - I heard a squeal from Jaimi but just kept clicking away. What a priceless moment! Hannah may not like them too much in 20 years, but her family will still get a major kick out of them! lol Her big brother, JD was a blast too and I can't wait to capture some really sweet images of the two of them at our next session. Thank you so much to this wonderful family for allowing me to share in these amazing memories!
