I got to spend "Moore" time with Garrison Moore today during a short follow up shoot where we were able to take some one-on-one time getting "that perfect shot". He did such a great job! He is an extremely gifted child and as a result, his mind is always turning and jumping from one thing to the next, so keeping him focused on the session was a really fun challenge. He should be very proud of himself because, as you can see, he gave me some truly GREAT shots! Thanks so much to Garrison and his parents, David and Kacy, for giving me the opportunity to spend some extra time capturing these moments they will treasure forever.

Blue Eyed Sky
I guess for me, picture taking (at home especially) tends to come in spurts. Either that or my girls just seemed extra cute today!!! This is Skylar playing on the floor in our living room. She is so sweet and beautiful!
Blue Eyed Beauty
I caught this moment with Brooklyn today when I tried (unsuccessfully) to lay her down in her crib for a short nap. Once I realized the nap was a lost cause, I couldn't help but grab my camera! It's not often that my snapshots at home end up being truly blog worthy but I thought this was priceless. Hope you agree! Thanks for taking the time to look!

Alex Malpartida
I have had the priviledge of knowing Alex Malpartida since he was a young teenager and I was 19 or 20 (which was only a couple of years ago! Haha!) His mother, Belinda, is one of my best friends so when she mentioned that he was in town and she would love to have some pictures of him, of course I offered right away! He is a college student in Jacksonville, AL majoring in computer science and is a truly stand-up guy. Looking at these edgy photos, you might not think it, but he has a humble and gracious spirit and is a complete pleasure to be around. He was a natural in front of the camera and his funky look translated well in pictures. I am so glad I was able to do the session before he went back to Jacksonville and I want to congratulate him on completing his first semester of classes! He is on the right track and I know I can speak for my friend Belinda when I say he is making his mother so proud! Thank you for looking and best wishes to Alex as he enters his second semester of college!
The Moore Family
I took the Moore Family out to Shakespeare Saturday evening for a two hour session. The kids were absolutely amazing! What a great family! I couldn't believe how patient they were and how much fun we all had during the shoot. We had to take cover from the rain at the beginning of the shoot but it passed over and we were able to get some great shots afterwards. David, the dad, is hilarious and you can see by the way Kacy interacts with her children, how much they mean to her. It's such a priviledge to be allowed these intimate insights into such a dynamic family. The photographs above are the ones they selected for prints. I'll be narrowing them down for display purposes after they have finished their selection process.
Thank you to the Moore Family for allowing me to capture some very special moments that you will hopefully treasure for many years to come!
